Location of job:
Hybrid- 3 days onsite, 2 days remote. Candidate must be local to Austin, TX

This role demands a solid background in software engineering and a proven ability to develop web applications and handle the development of Dev Ops pipelines. No emphasis on AI technologies is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end features for a chat-based data interaction platform.
• Build responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Streamlit.
• Develop scalable back-end services and APIs using Python (FastAPI, Flask) or Node.js.
• Enhance and maintain software systems supporting generative AI initiatives.
• Deliver full-stack AI-powered applications using Python and contemporary UI frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges and integrate scalable, cloud-based AI solutions.
• Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on AI tools with a focus on performance, flexibility, and scalability.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, conduct code reviews, and support the full software development lifecycle.
• Design and implement Dev Ops pipelines to support release management.

Minimum (Required):

Skills/Experience

A minimum of seven years of experience in software development, and over four years of hands-on expertise with Python.

Proficiency in Python, Node.js, and React.js, with a strong background in backend services and data processing.

Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.

Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, and data protection best practices.

Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.

Hands-on experience with generative AI frameworks and models (e.g., Lang Chain, OpenAI APIs) - (Not Required)

Familiarity with LLMs, vector databases, and retrieval systems. (Not Required)

Programmatic Integration with Microsoft 365 Using Graph API and Entra

Preferred (Optional):

Skills/Experience

Knowledge of data visualization libraries and dashboarding tools.

Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Familiarity with Dev Ops tools including Jenkins and Azure Dev Ops.

Understanding of database and data engineering fundamentals.

Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration and server development.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
