Neos, a leading Austin‑based IT Staffing and Consulting firm recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Austin, is hiring a Senior Salesforce Developer for a long‑term contract with our client in Austin, TX. Only local candidates may apply, and the position requires onsite work five days per week.

Overview

The Salesforce Developer will support THECB’s custom application development on the Salesforce platform, including migration of applications from sandbox to production, version control, and syncing data connections. The role requires compliance with the client’s data security policy and adherence to coding and security standards. The developer will work in an Agile (Scrum) environment, collaborating with stakeholders, contributing to project plans, status reports, technical documentation, and presentations.

• Design, develop, update, and migrate Salesforce applications, including APEX classes, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SFDC Flows, and REST API integrations.
• Configure Salesforce applications using Salesforce Developer Console and Visual Studio.
• Conduct testing to verify logic and ensure compliance with development standards and system/business requirements.
• Complete complex project work, troubleshoot and correct coding errors/issues.
• Provide status updates on work assignments and any technical issues that present risk to project timelines.
• Apply experience in Software Development Life Cycle and agile software development.

Minimum requirements are as follows:

• 8+ years of experience in Salesforce application development, using Salesforce Developer Console and Visual Studio.
• 8+ years of excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• 8+ years of experience working complex projects throughout all development phases, ensuring timely completion within budget.
• 8+ years of ability to translate complex data and business requirements into actionable development backlog.
• 8+ years of strong problem‑solving skills with attention to detail and conflict resolution.
• 2+ years of experience working with user stories and tasks in Azure Dev Ops.
• 2+ years of experience working with confidential data and process implementation for information security.
• 4+ years of experience working in Public Sector.
• 4+ years of experience working on an agile scrum development team to evaluate user stories and size tasks.
• 4+ years of knowledge of the common design practices, standards, and technologies related to application accessibility (e.g., WCAG, ADA, Section 508).
• 1+ year of Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II (preferred).
