Sr. QA Engineer

Job Description

A large fintech client is transforming trade clearing platforms to power innovative stock trading applications. They are seeking a driven QA Engineer passionate about software quality and delivering exceptional products. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced environments, solve complex problems, and enjoy driving improvement across UI Functional, Automated, Performance, and Scalability testing practices.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Quality Assurance:
  Participate in all SDLC phases, improving QA processes and non-functional testing (Performance, Scalability).
• Testing:
  Execute integration, smoke, regression, and accessibility tests to ensure stability and readiness.
• Automation:
  Build and maintain automated test systems using tools like JUnit, Playwright, Selenium, and JMeter.
• Test Planning:
  Develop functional, regression, E2E, and performance test plans.
• Manual & Automated Testing:
  Conduct exploratory and automated tests; mentor teams on performance testing.
• Process Improvement:
  Collaborate with development teams to enhance testing protocols and advocate for quality.

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in QA, including UI, manual and automated testing.
• Experience with the following testing tools:
  Playwright, JUnit, JMeter (or any performance testing tool)
• Strong API experience (REST, GRPC)
• Hands on coding experience with Java
• Strong collaboration, analytical and problem-solving skills
  -Experience with Cypress, Selenium, Apium
• Fintech experience
