Job Title: Sr. Java Full Stack Developer

Position Type: Contract

Location: Austin, TX, (Hybrid) 3 days remote with 2 days onsite (Mondays and Thursdays)

Interview Mode: In-person & MS Teams Both

LOCAL ONLY REQUIRED

• Develop, enhance, maintain, and support web-based Java/J2EE applications.
• Participate in requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment of application components.
• Create and maintain technical and design documentation.
• Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
• Optimize software for performance, caching, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain reusable, self-contained, and testable modules and components.
• Employ contemporary testing methods to ensure applications function correctly and efficiently.
• Provide technical support for testing and implementation efforts.
• Collaborate with other teams to achieve project goals.
• Participate in code reviews, test walk-throughs, and design discussions to provide input on technical standards and customer requirements.
• Provide production support including defect repair, maintenance, and application performance monitoring.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or Management Information Systems.
• 8 years of hands‑on experience in server‑side/web services development and enterprise‑class J2EE applications.
• 8 years of experience participating in all phases of SDLC.
• 8 years of experience with J2EE application servers, authentication/authorization, and caching strategies.
• 8 years of programming experience using Java, J2EE, REST/SOAP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, Bootstrap, SASS, Angular, Type Script, Spring, JSON, XML, JWT, OAuth, NPM, Maven, OpenAPI v3, Postman, Ready

  Hands‑on experience in Server‑side/Web Services development, enhancing and maintaining enterprise‑class applications on the J2EE application development platform.
• 8 years required:
  Hands‑on experience participating in all phases of the SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle).
• 8 years required:
  Hands‑on development experience implementing applications utilizing any J2EE Application Server, Authentication and Authorization, Caching strategies.
• 8 years required:
  Hands‑on programming experience using Java, J2EE, REST/SOAP, HTML5, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS, Angular, Typescript, Spring, JSON, XML, JWT, NPM, Maven, OpenAPI v3, OAuth, Postman, Ready

  Experience implementing REST services supporting client‑facing applications;

  Experience in development of self‑contained, reusable, and testable modules and components – Demonstrable experience developing, optimizing, and maintaining an enterprise‑level web services including complete ownership of the services stack.
• 3 years preferred:
  Hands‑on experience with JBoss or IBM Web Sphere Application Server 8 or later.
• 3 years preferred:
  Hands‑on experience with Agile Development Methodologies (preferably Scrum).
• 3 years preferred:
  Hands‑on experience with CI/CD methodologies and containerized application deployments.
• 3 years preferred:
  Hands‑on experience with web applications developed for Cloud platforms.
• 3 years preferred:
  Experience in Test‑driven development and test creation using frameworks such as Karma, Jasmine, Selenium.
