Intertek Alchemy is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our team and play a key role in building scaling and maintaining our suite of LMS and Content Creation SaaS and mobile applications. This is an opportunity to lead technical initiatives mentor developers and drive innovation while working with technologies like PHP MySQL and React.

• Lead development of software solutions using PHP 8 MySQL 8 and React.
• Implement responsive and intuitive front-end interfaces using React HTML CSS and JavaScript.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to analyze requirements propose solutions and ensure project success.
• Mentor and guide developers fostering growth and knowledge sharing.
• Architect scalable systems that meet performance and security standards.
• Write clean efficient well documented code following best practices.
• Optimize databases craft advanced SQL queries and ensure reliability.
• Build responsive front-end interfaces with modern frameworks.
• Test debug and review code to deliver high quality software.
• Work closely with QA to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Promote innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
• Document technical specs and architecture for knowledge sharing.
• Engage in agile ceremonies raise risks early and contribute to sprint demos.
• Partner with product teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in PHP 8 MySQL 8 and React. Strong experience with Laravel or other PHP frameworks is essential.
• Strong knowledge of software development principles design patterns and best practices.
• Proven ability to design and develop scalable high performance systems.
• Advanced front-end skills (HTML CSS JavaScript).
• Expertise in database optimization SQL and data modeling.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience.
• Excellent problem solving communication and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to delivering high quality solutions on time.

• Bachelors in Computer Science and 5 years of software development experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker Kubernetes).Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with performance optimization scalability and security practices.
• Contributions to open source projects or a strong technical portfolio.
