Job Overview

You'll be joining our Mitratech HR Solutions Engineering team, working on an AI-First SaaS product to streamline the HR functions for our customers. Mitratech has a deep best-practices system and culture supporting continuous improvement of low-defect, scalable software that delivers exceptional experiences for our clients. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Make it to prod: in Python/FastAPI/Pydantic and React

• Make it simple:Break down high-level product goals into well-defined, modular engineering tasks that can be executed by team members.
• Make it automatically:Generate agent tool playbooks, measure the results, and drive the AI teaching process
• Make it right:Drive quality and maintainability with in-depth reviews of both human and AI-generated code, ensuring quality, security, scalability, and alignment with domain requirements.
• Co-own Design and Architecture: Drive design, philosophy, practices, and measures across a planned and evolving application base.
• Build a Team: Guide junior engineers in effective AI use, critical thinking, and system-level design, helping them grow in this rapidly changing environment.
• Send it fast:Participate in and optimize CICD pipelines that incorporate AI agents, automated testing, and intelligent code reviews.

• Own the platform(Dev Ops philosophy where you will participate in ops) and respond promptly to any production issues to remediate rapidly.
• Own the cultureWork as a team, support the team, show candor and care
• Own Stability and Security.Avoid introducing an OWASP vulnerability. Know how APIs are secured, sessions are handled, and data is validated properly.

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelors in CS or equivalent computing experience with rigor in Algorithms, Data Structures, and Analysis
• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience with significant experience in SaaS
• Proven Proficiency in Python
• Experience in Python web (FastAPI, Flask) strongly preferred
• Experience in aspects of Data Engineering (ETL, Context Engineering, langchain, langgraph) of interest
• Facility with Frontend
• Experience in React strongly preferred
• Experience in - or superior readiness for - our stack components: kFastAPI, React, SQL, AWS, Docker.

Compensation

Mitratech remains committed to equitable and transparent pay practices.
