We have an exciting Senior .NET Developer opportunity with a state agency in Austin, TX. This is a long-term (12+ months) contract role. This position will perform highly advanced (senior-level) computer programming work, including research, design, and implementation of web-based applications.

This role is an on-site role. The role can be performed in any of the following locations:
Austin, TX;
San Antonio, TX; or Houston, TX. You can choose any of these locations to work onsite.

• Perform research and analysis required for specialized programs or routines to supplement and enhance front and back-end web-based applications software using HTML, HTML5, ASP.NET/C#.
• Design, develop, and implement specialized programs or routines to supplement and enhance front- and back-end web-based applications using HTML, HTML5, ASP.NET (Blazor)/C#.
• Write, test, evaluate, debug, and document complex programs, including client/server and web-based applications, using C# (.NET), MVC, and/or SQL.
• Provide support for the Client's application software by diagnosing issues, implementing changes to resolve them, and maintaining the software at the most current level.
• Work closely with other developers, business analysts, project leadership, and business areas to validate requirements, understand technical issues and limitations, and model solutions that meet functional and technical requirements.
• Recommend improvements and identify risks to processes for application development projects, as needed.

• 7 years of experience with highly complex (senior-level) software development and web programming to enhance user experience.
• 7 years of experience with functional and performance automation of APIs, web services, and web applications using C# .NET Framework, MVC, and SQL Server.
• 7 years of experience in design and development of web-based and Windows-based applications using various .NET, HTML, HTML5, ASP.NET (Blazor)/C#, JavaScript, SQL, and CSS.
• 5 years of experience using Azure Dev Ops and AWS Dev Ops.
• 5 years of experience working in an Agile-based development environment.
