Our client is seeking a Application Modernization Developer to join their team. As a Application Modernization Developer, you will be part of the Application Development Department supporting modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Analyze legacy applications and design modernization paths such as refactoring, rebuilding, or replatforming. Develop updated components using modern languages, frameworks, and architectural patterns. Improve existing APIs, integrations, and data flows to meet current standards. Enhance system performance, scalability, and maintainability. Collaborate with architects, Dev Ops, and modernization teams to deliver end-to-end upgrades.

What's Needed?

Experience in application modernization or legacy system transformation. Strong hands-on development skills in Java, .NET, Node, or Python. Understanding of modern architectures such as microservices, REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-ready design. Ability to work with legacy systems including old frameworks, monoliths, on-prem infrastructure, and old API layers. Good debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
