Description:

Oversees the design and implementation of enterprise‑scale data and application architecture solutions. Architects secure, scalable, and high‑performing digital experiences across hybrid mobile and web platforms. Leads the design of data integration strategy, using open‑source solutions or frameworks to modernize the technology footprint. Architects and governs enterprise data integration and orchestration pipelines using open‑source data flow and workflow technologies, ensuring scalable, secure, and high‑performance data movement and processing across platforms.

Defines data integration strategies and drives modernization of technology footprints using open‑source frameworks. Manages complex software projects and initiatives within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), operating in an Agile environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Collaborates with business leaders, product teams, and architecture governance groups to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.

Partners across multiple business units to deliver resilient, reusable, and extensible solutions.

Ensures architectural compliance while influencing decisions and driving alignment.

Designs, develops, and modifies complex and major software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design.

Develops and directs software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.

Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.

Modifies existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve performance.

Collaborates with systems analysts, engineers, and other developers to design systems and obtain information on project limitations and capabilities.

Participates in technology planning and budgeting processes.

Communicates analytical results and architectural solutions effectively to technical and business audiences.

Thrives in dynamic environments while bridging gaps between technical and business teams.

Exhibits strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and six (6) years of experience as a Vice President, Architecture (or closely related occupation) providing enterprise architecture leadership for large-scale data platform strategy, and overseeing the design, governance, and delivery of cloud-based and on-premises data and integration architectures.

Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and four (4) years of experience as a Vice President, Architecture (or closely related occupation) providing enterprise architecture leadership for large-scale data platform strategy, and overseeing the design, governance, and delivery of cloud-based and on-premises data and integration architectures.
