We are seeking experienced SAP S/4

HANA ABAP Developers to support custom code remediation for brownfield SAP implementations. The developers will analyze, remediate, optimize, and adapt existing ABAP code to ensure compatibility with SAP S/4

HANA. This is a remote, project-based opportunity supporting a customer with operations in Dallas and California.

• Lead SAP ABAP technical activities for S/4
  
  HANA Brownfield transformation and implementation projects.
• Provide hands‑on expertise in ABAP development, troubleshooting, and custom code remediation.
• Drive S/4
  
  HANA custom code remediation and ensure existing developments are compatible with the target S/4
  
  HANA environment.
• Lead technical planning, execution, and delivery of ABAP work streams.
• Work closely with customers, functional teams, architects, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues and deliver solutions.
• Manage customer expectations and confidently work with strong or demanding customer personalities.
• Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation, plans, status updates, and deliverables.
• Take ownership of technical activities, prioritize work, and proactively drive tasks to completion.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to ABAP developers while remaining hands‑on with development and remediation work.

• SAP experience with strong ABAP technical expertise.
• Proven experience with at least 2 SAP S/4
  
  HANA Brownfield implementations.
• Strong hands‑on experience in ABAP development and custom code remediation.
• Experience supporting S/4
  
  HANA conversion, remediation, testing, and technical delivery activities.
• Strong technical leadership and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to work effectively with demanding customers and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent organization, planning, communication, and documentation skills.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to take ownership and make technical decisions.
• Ability to lead technical teams while remaining hands‑on with ABAP development and remediation.
