D1 Training - Lake Travis is looking for an experienced and inspiring "Head Coach" to lead our training staff and ensure every D1 athlete receives a world-class training experience. If you’re passionate about developing personal trainers, driving results, and fostering a high-energy training environment, this role is for you!

As Head Coach, you will be responsible for hiring, training, and overseeing our team of Coaches (personal and team trainers), ensuring they uphold the "D1 Way" and deliver top-tier training to athletes of all ages. You’ll also play a key role in building community connections and inspiring both athletes and staff to reach their full potential.

What You’ll Do:

• Hire, lead, develop, and manage the D1 coaching staff to ensure top-quality training and member experience.
• Assist and take an active role in the sales process.
• Maximize client retention through coaching, accountability, and top-tier service.
• Adopt and promote D1 core values across the coaching staff.
• Uphold D1 policies and procedures to maintain training consistency and excellence.
• Foster a positive, motivating environment for both athletes and coaches.
• Oversee group workouts, personal training, and team training sessions.
• Ensure safe and effective programming, modifying movements as needed.
• Build relationships with members and engage with the local community.
• Educate athletes on strength, speed, and nutrition while reinforcing proper form and technique.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum Qualifications:

• CSCS certification required
• CPR/AED/First Aid certified
• 3+ years of strength & conditioning experience in group, team, or personal training.
• 2+ years of supervisory/managerial experience.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse coaching staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Collegiate and/or professional sports experience.
• Existing client base and local community connections.
• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or a related field.
• Experience in athletic-based group training.
• Bilingual is a plus!
