Group Swim Instructor

Compensation

We’ll pay you an hourly rate of $17.00- $18.00.

We need you to fill the role of a Group Swim Instructor. This is a Seasonal, Non-Exempt position. You’ll wow us by masterfully performing the following key duties and responsibilities:

• Preparing swim lesson plans to meet the goals of each swimmer.
• Communicating directly with swim lesson participants and their families.
• Adapting lessons to participant age, physical ability, and interests.
• Ensuring the safety of swim lesson participants.
• Teaching lessons with enthusiasm, warmth, and professionalism.
• Effectively communicating progress with participants following each lesson, or with parents regarding their child’s progress.
• Arriving to work on time, as scheduled.

• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification is preferred.
• To be obtained 30 days post-hire: CPR/AED/First Aid Pediatric and Adults certification, Dell JCC Swim Instructor Certification
• Pass all required criminal history background checks (which may, depending on the position you are hired for, include an FBI fingerprint check).
