Regents School of Austin Athletics is seeking an experienced track & field coach to assist the Varsity Head Coach with season programming, practice design, and direct instruction of our Varsity and JV high school programs. Other duties and requirements will include :

• Completion of current CPR & First Aid training
• Coordination with all assistant coaching staff members and interns
• Assist in mentorship and training of the middle school coaching staff
• Meet attendance, mostly Saturdays, with two to three weekday meets
• Overnight travel to Regionals and State
• Other duties as assigned

This is a part‑time, stipend only position. No full‑time coaching positions are available. Stipend amount, within a predefined range, is commensurate with experience.

Regents Knights Athletics, which began in 1995 with 5th‑8th grade basketball, volleyball and football and has since expanded to 56 teams across 15 different sports in grades seven through 12.

Since our first year of varsity athletics in 2000, Regents has won state championships in football (2010, 2006, 2003, 2002, and 2001), girls tennis (2018), volleyball (2006), girls golf (2012), swim (2013) and cheer‑leading (2006) as well as numerous regional, bi‑district and district titles in other sports including boys and girls basketball and golf.

In its proper context, the Regents athletic program is an arena for discovering and maturing in the Christ‑like character that will define our student‑athletes for the rest of their lives.

It is our desire that our entire athletic community – coaches, players and parents – participate in such a way that honors God and conveys a positive witness to those around us.

The Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy – this was adopted in 2017 by the Board to be clear on our view of the inerrancy of Scripture.
