Dispatcher Supervisor

Coreslab Structures (Texas) Inc. is now accepting qualified applications for Dispatching Supervisor at our Prestress Concrete manufacturing plant in Cedar Park, Texas. Position Purpose

The Dispatch Supervisor leads a team of dispatchers and drivers to ensure timely freight delivery while maintaining strict compliance with safety and transportation regulations.

• Team Leadership:
  Supervise, train, and mentor dispatchers; conduct performance reviews and manage shift schedules.
• Operational Planning:
  Oversee daily route planning and resource allocation to optimize fuel efficiency and on-time performance.
• Compliance Oversight:
  Ensure all drivers and dispatchors follow Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). federal, and state regulations, including monitoring driver logs and Hours of Service (HOS).
• Real-Time Monitoring:
  Track fleet movement using GPS and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to proactively address delays or emergencies.
• Problem Resolution:
  Act as the first point of contact for driver incidents, vehicle breakdowns, and customer delivery issues.
• Performance Tracking:
  Maintain and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as cost-per-mile, on-time delivery rates, and driver productivity.
• Fleet Management:
  Analyze tractor and trailer capacity needs to support workload demands for leased and owned assets.

The supervisor’s position can be required to manage up to 30 employees at one time. The supervisor is responsible for making sure all employees are abiding by the company rules, safety regulations and that work is being completed in an efficient manner. This position reports to the Plant Manager.

The majority of work will take place in an office environment. There may be some tasks that are exposed to the elements of all types of weather.

  Based on experience and qualifications

Minimal travel requirements within the state of Texas.

• Typically requires 3 years of experience in dispatching or trucking operations, with 1–3 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong decision-making under pressure, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset for conflict resolution.

• 5 years supervisory experience
• 5 years in trucking environment
• High School Diploma
