- Night Shift Austin, TX 78744## Overview Salary Range $29.00 Hourly## Description The Bobtail Driver is to deliver gasoline and/or diesel in large quantities while operating a vehicle efficiently and safely while maintaining the company’s standards for excellent customer service.###
* Duties/Responsibilities
** Operate bobtail tanker in a safe manner
* Load, transport and deliver gasoline to and from specific locations while obeying all federal, state and local laws related to commercial hazmat transportation
* Provide excellent customer service in a professional and ethical manner
* Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure proper operation
* Maintain daily driving logs to record miles driven and number of stops
* Accurately complete daily delivery paperwork
* Must abide by all company performance policies including driver safety and delivery accuracy## Qualifications###
* Minimum Qualifications
** Class A or B commercial license with hazmat, tanker and airbrakes endorsement
* Clean driving record
* Flexibility to be a
** TEAM PLAYER
** and participate in efforts that are needed to benefit the company and accomplish unscheduled necessary projects and tasks
* License and vehicle to drive to and from work
* Willingness to work a flexible schedule to best serve the customer
* Ability to work full shifts including flex weekend schedule if necessary###
* Required Skills/Abilities
** Solid judgement along with decision making skills
* Exceptional time management and organizational skills
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers###
* Physical Requirements
** Maneuver hoses weighing up to 50 pounds overhead to deliver product
* Repetitive climbing in and out of vehicle as well as occasional climbing of stairs/ladders
* Repetitive squatting and bending for removal of drop and vapor lids weighing up to 20 pounds
* Must be able to travel frequently
* Prolonged periods of sitting
