Base pay range

$45,000.00/yr - $50,000.00/yr

As the AV Warehouse Manager, you’ll be at the center of the action with The Werd Company’s dynamic and growing Audiovisual team in Austin, TX. You will help manage many aspects of warehouse operations from organizing gear for various projects, to communicating with vendors regarding logistics, to managing warehouse associates. The AV Warehouse Manager thrives in a rapidly evolving environment and is exceptionally flexible, able to carry out a broad scope of responsibilities.

What

You’ll Do
  • Check in and out equipment using existing processes and software.
  • Warehouse organization and maintenance.
  • Management of receiving logistics.
  • Basic vehicle maintenance and management of 3rd party repairs.
  • Management of vehicle allocation including predicting shortages and coordinating rental vehicles when necessary.
  • Coordinate relevant equipment repair utilizing our inhouse team and escalating to third parties when necessary.
  • Inventory and asset tracking and maintenance, utilizing existing processes and software.
  • Coordination of loading and unloading of trucks, helping out as needed.
  • Management of additional warehouse personnel including scheduling and task oversight.
  • Schedule pick up and delivery of various pieces of equipment.
  • Attend weekly meetings with Project Managers, procurement team, and other relevant personnel to ensure smooth execution of projects.
  • Project future equipment / asset shortages and formulate plans on how to avoid them.
  • Management of basic building maintenance.
  • Manage equipment runs during events in case of onsite equipment failures.
  • Maintain stock of relevant warehouse supplies including tape, packing supplies, batteries, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Personality And Skill Requirements
  • Dependable and respectful.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly through the course of the day without assistance; and maneuver and lift up to 225 lbs. with assistance.
  • Continuous walking, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to identify items on all paperwork including, but not limited to: customer orders and labels, packing lists.
  • Basic computer skills including Google suite and possesses the ability to learn rental management software (Current RMS and D-Tools).
  • Comfortable working independently and in a team environment while upholding the company's core values.
  • Always uses safety and caution when working.
  • Detail oriented personality - pays attention to the small things.
  • Communicate and demonstrate warehouse expectations to other associates.
  • Effectively delegates tasks to associates.
  • Ability to lead and maintain positive morale with associates.
  • Can identify inefficiencies, and make suggestions on how to improve the organization and flow.
  • Is able to balance multiple tasks while maintaining order and organization.
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Job Type And Compensation
  • Full time:
    Monday - Friday, occasional weekends when in peak season.
  • Exempt, $45K - $50K per year (rate based on experience and skill level)
