Shipping Specialist – Natera
Position Summary:
On‑site in Austin, TX – temporary to permanent. Responsible for the physical and administrative tasks involved in shipping, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Builds kits for outgoing shipments.
Schedule:
Monday‑Friday, 10am‑6pm. Hourly pay is $21.
- Ship outgoing shipments, prepare shipments, move shipments, label shipments, build boxes for shipments.
- Operate the pallet jack and print paperwork.
- Maintain inventory of kits and shipping supplies based on order points with purchasing/inventory team.
- Data entry using spreadsheet, third‑party systems, ERP (preferably Microsoft GP).
- Manage work orders and all supporting documentation.
- Pick and pack material ensuring order accuracy.
- Enter work order information into computer system and give approval when order was received.
- Work with ERP software to manage inventory.
- Perform regular cycle counts to keep inventory in the shipping area accurate.
- Meet deadlines, goals, and performance metrics for on‑time order processing.
- Troubleshoot carrier issues related to delivery or pickup.
- Identify, count, stock materials, and maintain records of goods received.
- Build kits for outgoing shipments according to current bill of materials.
- Performs other duties assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Computer proficiency.
- Fed Ex, UPS, and DHL international shipping experience preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to multi‑task and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
- Organized individual with great attention to detail and focus on quality.
- Self‑motivated team player.
- Takes accountability and ownership of own work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
$21 per hour – salary range varies based on skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
