Warehouse Returns Associate

Work Schedule:
Varies by shift; may include evenings, holidays, and weekends

Shop LC is looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented people to join our warehouse Returns department. The Returns Associate processes product returns and information while supporting the warehouse staff and other departments in a 24/7, high-volume, fast-paced environment, and performs general warehouse duties including material picks, deliveries, and warehouse cleanup.

• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
• Unpack returned merchandise, inspect package condition, and review return paperwork for proper processing
• Inspect returned merchandise for quality and condition to determine return category
• Receive merchandise, following all security and safety return procedures for each product type
• Distribute returned items to their proper location based on product value, condition, and return type
• Input clear, accurate customer account notes in internal systems, documenting return reasons, feedback, and instructions
• Identify and report critical distribution issues to the team lead/supervisor
• Complete data entry as needed
• All other duties as assigned by manager

• 1-2 years of prior returns or similar experience preferred
• Basic computer skills (e.g., personal computers, printers, email)
• Knowledge of warehouse operating procedures and protocol
• Prior experience in distribution, warehouse, or inventory handling preferred
• Ability to operate inventory control and related computer software
• Ability to stay focused and on task in a fast-paced environment

• Remaining in a stationary position, standing or sitting, for prolonged periods
• Moving about the warehouse to accomplish tasks, including walking for extended periods
• Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 70 pounds
• Performing repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
• Bending, reaching, and maneuvering around tasks in a warehouse environment
• Pushing, pulling and maneuvering carts and equipment

• Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to understand safety instructions, job procedures, and workplace communications
• Ability to accurately follow written and verbal directions
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers, leads, and supervisors

• Report to work neatly groomed and in compliance with company dress code and safety requirements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized personal work area at all times
• Follow all company health, safety, and sanitation standards

• Report to work on time and as scheduled
• Flexibility to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as business needs require
