What is the Job all About? As a Driver Ambassador, you’ll be behind the wheel of our electric shuttles, cruising around the city in our mapped service area. You’ll also be the ambassador for the community, sharing fun facts, pointing out local hotspots, and making every ride an epic adventure for passengers. If you love driving, talking with people, and showing off your city, this job is a great fit.

• Provide a valuable service around the community while ensuring locals and tourists get to their destinations safely.
• Create an enjoyable riding experience by welcoming passengers with a smile and making rides memorable.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and enjoyable rides while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Drive electric vehicles including GEMS, Sedans, and Vans (some with/without power steering).
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness with pre- and post-vehicle inspections.
• Must live on Catalina Island.

• 3 years of safe driving experience and a valid driver’s license
• Passion for customer service and working with the public
• Excited about showcasing the community
• Ability to use technology such as an iPhone, GPS, and other apps
• A chauffeur’s license or experience driving commercially is a plus
• We are looking for a variety of drivers, including those with CDLs or ADA vehicle experience
• Ability to work nights and weekends is a plus
• Comfortable working in different weather conditions
• Ability to stand, sit, walk, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Adhere to vehicle weight and height requirements per manufacturer specs

• Fun and flexible work environment
• Hourly base rate of $22 plus tips
• Full-time employees eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision after 3 months
