Responsibilities- Provide operations input to influence efficient product manufacturing.
- Lead global process improvements and drive asset productivity.
- Support manufacturing sites in safety, product quality, process standardization, and the implementation of Most Effective Technologies (MET).
- Support new product development and strategic manufacturing projects with a strong emphasis on process safety.
- Interact with manufacturing and commercial functions to ensure seamless integration of process development initiatives.
- Lead projects and present project status updates, communicating goals, progress, and results.
- Adhere to all relevant internal and external Lubrizol policies, including Health, Safety, Environment, and Security (HSES) requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, or an equivalent degree from an accredited college or university.
- 10+ years of experience in the chemical manufacturing industry.
- Proven ability to identify and implement improvements in people, processes, and technology.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, communication, and technical writing skills.
- Self-driven with the ability to manage and lead multiple technology assignments.
- Focused on continuous improvement.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and data analysis skills.
- Knowledge of experimental design (DOE) and data analysis using fundamental statistical techniques and statistical software.
- Master’s degree and/or Ph.D. in chemical engineering, chemistry, or an equivalent field.
- Knowledge of personal care, performance coatings, natural polymers, fermentation, and/or polymerization chemistry.
- Lean Six Sigma experience and/or green or black belt certification.
