Production Team Lead

Position Overview:

The Team Lead’s primary responsibilities include the those of the Inspection Operator Level 1 through Level 3 as needed. The Team Lead is trained and capable of maintaining day-to-day production operations within the Inspection Operator team. The Team Lead is capable of supporting the Shift Supervisor primarily and/or performing duties carried out by the Shift Supervisor as required. The Team Lead reports to the Shift Supervisor and receives training-related guidance as needed.

Decision Documentation Twice a shift – shift reviews/inspection

Evaluate, update, and share accuracy of OWIs and SOPsAssist with update of job board layout

Investigate and remedy inventory issues & discrepancies

Assess IQMS schedule, assign priorities, manipulate downtimes & data accordingly

Functional understanding of Supervisor roles and responsibilities in order to act as a backup to Supervisor when needed.

Perform other responsibilities as needed to support the success of the organization

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Knowledge of current production SOPs, forms, procedures, and practices

Pull reports, assess data, and take appropriate actions

Proficient with IQMS and scan gun navigation

Mastery of all Inspection Operator (1), Trainer (2), and related responsibilities

Ability to research and solve routine issues and problems, including inventory

Strong work ethic / Motivated / Dependable.

Able to work independently and with minimal oversight / Self-Directed Willing to learn
