Watteredge is looking for a dependable and mechanically skilled CNC Vaski Operator to join our second-shift manufacturing team. If you have CNC or machine operation experience, enjoy hands‑on work, and take pride in producing quality parts, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do- Set up and operate CNC Vaski equipment.
- Read and follow blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and job travelers.
- Load and position materials for production.
- Select appropriate machine settings, tooling, and programs for each job.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed.
- Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring tapes.
- Troubleshoot basic machine, tooling, and production issues.
- Complete production documentation accurately.
- Perform routine machine checks and basic preventive maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work with Production, Quality, and Engineering to resolve manufacturing issues.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 2 or more years of CNC, Vaski, or manufacturing machine operation experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing documentation.
- Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Experience using measuring and inspection tools.
- Basic shop math skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable attendance and a team oriented attitude.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
