Overview

Position: C.L.U.B. Instructor | Youth Power
365. This is a salaried/hourly, full-time October-April position eligible for all VVF employment benefits.

Responsibilities
  • MUST BE AVAILABLE:
    Monday at Homestake Peak Middle School, 3:00 – 5:00 PM (September–April).
  • Review and prepare for lessons.
  • Deliver lessons and/or assist with lesson delivery.
  • Assist with Special Events and/or field trips.
  • Provide Program Manager with feedback and identify program needs.
  • Build a strong relationship with students, families, and Youth Power
    365 staff.
  • Be able to attend all assigned sessions; communicate concerns or scheduling issues promptly.
  • Assist Youth Power
    365 with family communication: phone calls, emails, etc.
  • Work alongside After school Explorers (GirlPowHER) instructor for events or outings that are collaborated.
Specific Responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience
  • Preferred experience working with middle and/or high school youth.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to deliver curriculum to middle school students.
  • Knowledge and experience in gender-specific teaching.
  • Experience working with youth.
  • Exceptional relationship and problem-solving skills.

  • Salary range or hourly rate: $25-36 based on experience.
