Pay$22.00/hr – $35.98/hr
About the opportunityResponsible for independently assisting providers with patient care, maintaining patient records and completing administrative duties that assist in the management of patient care.
What you will do- Obtain, monitor, and record vital signs, patient history, and invasive procedures; ensuring accuracy and proper documentation in the patient’s Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Field patient phone calls promptly and in a professional manner.
- Assist providers and other clinical staff with examinations, procedures, and other processes related to direct patient care.
- Prepare patient for scheduled procedures, including venipunctures, injections, and initiate intravenous therapy as necessary.
- Monitor medical condition of patient and report changes to appropriate provider.
- Maintain patient documentation and communicate plan of care with provider including ordered diagnostics or therapeutic services.
- Ensure cleanliness, adequate stock of supplies and functioning equipment in examination rooms; replace supplies depleted on a daily basis; clean and sterilize equipment and tools; complete shift opening and closing procedures.

- Perform other duties as assigned. Must be HIPAA compliant.
- Minimum of 2 years experience with applicable patient care and administrative duties preferred.
- Ability to perform venipunctures, administer injections, and initiate intravenous therapy preferred.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology, medical equipment, HIPAA compliance and OSHA rules and regulations.

- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by AAMA
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) by AMT
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) by NCCT
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) by NHSA
- Medical Assistant Certification (MAC) by AMCA
- Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant by NAHP
- State of Colorado Licensed Practical Nurse or valid compact state license
- State of Colorado Emergency Medical Technician license
- CNA or EMT license pay range: $22.00 – $28.39/hr
- Medical Assistant certification pay range: $23.20 – $31.00/hr
- LPN, RN, or Paramedic pay range: $25.47 – $35.98/hr
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computer skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job‑specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
English languageMust have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
