You are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Avon, CT. The Base pay range is $28.00/hr - $30.00/hr.
Responsibilities- Process a high volume of invoices (approximately 10-20 per day) with accuracy and efficiency
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation to ensure proper authorization
- Post invoices to the accounting system and ensure correct coding to general ledger accounts
- Assist with check cutting and prepare payments for Controller review and signature
- Verify account balances and research discrepancies as needed
- Communicate regularly with the Purchasing Department to resolve invoice and PO-related issues
- Maintain organized records and documentation in accordance with company policies
- At least 1 year of AP experience
- Basic Excel experience
- SAP experience is nice to have
The pay range represents the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
