Therapeutic Support Staff / Support Staff
Dr Hill Educational Services is seeking a dedicated Therapeutic Support Staff / Support Staff to provide in‑home support one‑on‑one with a young client, in accordance with their individual behavior treatment plan. This role serves to assist the child or teen in avoiding unacceptable behavior, offers an emotionally supportive role, encourages social interaction, promotes family collaboration, and facilitates independence.
Location: Connecticut (varies)
Salary: $20-$25 per hour
Schedule: Part‑time
Employment type: Full‑time

Responsibilities- Provide intervention supports to families for the benefit of the child.
- Assist the child or teen in avoiding unacceptable behavior.
- Play an emotionally supportive role.
- Encourage social interaction and participation in group activities.
- Help the child’s family and caregivers promote acceptable behavior and independence.
- Trained in PMT/CPI or willing to be trained.
- 3 years of experience working with children.
- Valid Connecticut driver's license.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Ability to keep documentation of services.
- Reports to work as scheduled.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- May function under regular supervision by a professionally licensed or certified personnel.
- Therapeutic Support Staff Training is provided before working. (Training cost will be deducted from the first paycheck.)
