Administrator (LNHA) - SNF Located in Hartford County, CT

Salary Range: $115K to $145K (based on experience)

• Must have 3-4 years of current experience as an Administrator in a nursing home setting
• Must have Connecticut Administrator license
• Must have prior long-term care experience
• Ability to effectively communicate, direct, and delegate tasks
• Must be a self-starter and energetic
• Proven leadership and management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Monitor and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Maintain written policies and procedures that govern the operation of the facility.
• Maintain written job descriptions and performance evaluations for each staff position.
• Assist department directors in development and use of department policies and procedures and establish rapport in and between departments so that each can see the importance of teamwork.
• Interpret the facilities policies and procedures to employees, residents, family members, visitors, and governmental agencies, etc.. as necessary in accordance to board approved practice.
• Review the facility’s policies and procedures periodically, at least annually, and make changes as necessary to assure continued compliance with current regulations.
• Assure that all employees, resident, visitors, and the public follows established policies and procedures.
