Staff Registered Nurse (Part Time)

• Assess and treat students for injuries and illnesses during Health Center hours, including communicable diseases such as COVID-19 and flu.
• Administer daily medications, chart student visits, and ensure proper documentation in designated systems.
• Communicate effectively with faculty, parents, pharmacy, and physicians regarding student health, medication compliance, and updates.
• Maintain infection control protocols, including PPE use, sanitizing, and disinfecting per policies.
• Oversee medication inventory, proper disposal of expired medications, and maintain licensure and certifications.
• Assist with Health Center maintenance, including kitchen, laundry, and infirmary beds.
• Follow established policies, procedures, and nursing protocols, and participate in staff meetings.
• During the summer, coordinate medication needs with parents and doctors for upcoming school year.

• Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience.
• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and overnight on-call shifts.
• Ability to work within 30 minutes of the school location.
• Strong communication skills and adherence to infection control practices.

Maintains proper licensure, adheres to policies, and collaborates with school staff to ensure student health and safety.
