Overview

Store Support role at The Home Depot
. The role involves performing a variety of non-sales functions to support store operations and customer satisfaction. This may include ensuring an outstanding customer order fulfillment experience, assisting customers in the lot, or providing administrative services. Direct customer or vendor interaction may be required. You may direct customers to store departments or merchandise, answer questions on product order status, and assist with cash management or program compliance.

Associates must work cooperatively with other associates, vendors, and carriers, and typically operate with little or some supervision. They should be detail-oriented, possess strong time management skills, and demonstrate a high level of integrity at all times. They respond to operational concerns and stay focused on store-specific business objectives while supporting key operational responsibilities. Specific positions may include:
Office Associate, Order Fulfillment Associate, Lot Associate, and Customer Service Representative.

Responsibilities
  • Provide non-sales support to ensure an outstanding customer order fulfillment experience.
  • Assist customers in the lot and guide them to store departments or merchandise.
  • Provide administrative services as needed.
  • Interact with customers or vendors as required.
  • Answer questions on product order status and assist with related inquiries.
  • Support cash management or program compliance where applicable.
  • Collaborate with other associates, vendors, and carriers; work with little or some supervision.
  • Be detail-oriented, demonstrate time management, and uphold store objectives.
  • Demonstrate integrity and respond to operational concerns.
  • Support key operational responsibilities as directed.
