DescriptionWe are looking for a Sales Agent to join our team in the Glastonbury office and surrounding area. Success in this role requires a strong local network and in‑person relationship building in the community. This is not a remote position.
Qualifications- Previous sales experience where you successfully turned prospects into customers.
- A state insurance license—or willingness to earn one with training and support—in Property & Casualty and Life.
- Effective written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Well‑developed persuasion and negotiation skills.
- Great interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build relationships with prospective and existing customers.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn insurance coverage and underwriting guidelines.
- Familiarity with finding, building, and growing leads and a customer base.
- Highly self‑motivated and driven: resilient, strong work ethic, and independent after training.
- Gritty and adaptable: works well under pressure and adapts when the unexpected happens.
- Coachable: loves to learn from others, responds to feedback, and seeks continuous improvement.
- Results‑oriented: competitive, motivated by friendly rivalries, and goes above and beyond to achieve goals.
