• Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor always
• Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
• Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms
• Set up furniture items in guest rooms as requested
• Retrieve items from shelves and storerooms, set up cleaning cart with supplies, and maintain carts and storerooms in a clean and orderly fashion
• Clean and wipe windows, doors, walls, closets and fixtures in rooms, public areas, and hallways; use ladders or stools for hard-to-reach areas; ensure sanitary guest and public restrooms
• Remove items from hallways and transport to service areas; clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment
• Replace towels, soaps and room amenities; restock literature as needed to ensure adequate supply for arriving guests
• Vacuum rooms, public areas, and hallways; operate vacuums up to 25 lbs; lift/move heavy furniture to clean under and around areas
• Inspect room equipment (TV, lights, faucets, radios) and report deficiencies in writing to the Executive Housekeeper for prompt repair
• Secure and maintain custody of equipment, keys and supplies to protect hotel property

• A professional demeanor and clear communication skills; ability to support multiple departments
• Support all coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect
• The role requires continuous movement, standing and walking for an entire shift; ability to lift up to 55 pounds without assistance and more with assistance; ability to perform repetitive motions; capable of handling objects of varying size and weight
• Clean uniform and professional appearance
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisor
