We have an exciting opening for an Operations Manager.

Radial is a pre‑eminent eCommerce solutions provider powering some of the world’s best customer experiences, specializing in tailored, scalable ecommerce solutions for mid‑market and enterprise brands.

Role Summary

The Operations Manager provides leadership and supervision to an operations team within the same value stream, creating a world‑class operations team. This high‑volume retail big‑box B2B cross‑dock environment requires focus on continuous improvement and a lean culture of inventory, people, and processes.

Hours

Sunday – Wednesday 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM (some flexibility)

Responsibilities
  • Accountable to client SLA agreement and site‑specific quality for high‑volume cross‑dock targets.
  • Create and manage day‑to‑day operational strategy ensuring the campus operates safely and productively.
  • Actively contribute to the development of direct reports.
  • Full work‑week responsibility for the client.
  • Lead Individual Performance Management program for the area.
  • Plan, prioritize, and communicate shift directives to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and quality.
  • Interact with clients on operational topics.
  • Oversee all aspects of quality assurance, establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to meet quality goals.
  • Deliver performance evaluations to direct reports, providing feedback as necessary.
  • Promote and develop a culture of continuous improvement within the value stream.
  • Deliver productivity and improvements in line with KPIs.
  • Own lean process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Organize and manage resources to improve safety, quality, customer service, and lower cost.
  • Maintain all training and skills development programs and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within the value stream.
  • Promote a culture of high accountability, engagement, and associate empowerment.
  • Manage relationships with on‑site seasonal staffing representatives and advise Site Director on seasonal labor needs.
  • Budget manage the value stream.
Qualifications
  • High-volume retail B2B and/or cross‑dock experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive operations experience in a managerial role.
  • Experience creating productivity improvement through continuous improvement efforts.
  • Experience with LEAN, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement ideologies;
    Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • Execution focused.
  • Awareness of internal customer requirements.
  • Data analysis and root‑cause analysis.
  • Identify process opportunities for growth.
  • Performance oriented.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and enhance quality control procedures.
  • Demonstrate capacity to learn all operational functions.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and motivating direct reports.
  • Influence and collaborate with peers and upper management.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong emphasis on Excel;
    Smartsheet helpful.
  • Intermediate math skills; able to lift 50 lbs and push or pull carts of up to 100 lbs.

  • This position is not remote.
  • Travel is not required.
