We are looking for applicants who hold a Certified Nursing Assistant certification or have completed a State recognized training program. The position is for PRN day and evening shifts.

• Observe and report any changes in residents' health status to the Charge Nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, and skin care according to the care plan.
• Document all care given and observations made during care.
• Perform bathing, shaving, trimming, shampooing, and combing of residents as instructed.
• Assist residents to and from chairs and into and out of bed using proper body mechanics.
• Change positions of bedfast residents.
• Follow all infection control procedures as instructed.
• Provide meal service.
• Read and write in English.
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, squatting, walking, grasping, and responding to pages and call lights.
• Use good judgment when administering medications ordered by the physician.
• Observe and report drug reactions commonly suffered by residents.
• Use appropriate drug references.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of medication carts/rooms and a clean working environment.
• Direct nursing assistants as applicable.
• Perform other duties as described in the nursing assistant job description.
• Attend required in‑services.
• Be alert to safeguard residents' welfare.
• Foster good relationships between employees, residents, families, and physicians.
• Answer every call light and alarm promptly and courteously, treating each as an emergency.
• Clean working areas and utility rooms, clean and store equipment properly and as scheduled.
• Report and document any accident or incident involving a resident, employee, or visitor immediately to a supervisor.
• Complete all other duties assigned by the Director of Nursing or designee.

• Certified Nursing Assistant or completion of an accredited training program.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, squat, walk, grasp, and respond to paging and call lights.
• Good judgment in medication administration and knowledge of drug references.
• Strong dedication to treating residents with respect and dignity.
