• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, providing a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest’s needs over tasks.
• Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards.
• Execute Food & Beverage processes including food deliveries, replenishment, straightening merchandise, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and organizing and storing reserve product.
• Follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target’s policies and procedures.
• Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales.
• Work with vendors to set, maintain and adjust merchandise displays and manage backroom space.
• Identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to Target’s policies and procedures.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, services, and store resources to solve guest issues and improve experiences.
• Comply with federal, state and local adult beverage laws as they apply to the role.
• Use and care for in-store and personal protective equipment; follow equipment control guidelines.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup and Drive-up while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
• All other duties as needed based on business needs.

• Must be at least 18 years of age (Bakery Only).
• Previous food or grocery experience preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; resolve guest questions quickly.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes; stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks within established time frames.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders; scan, move and merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds.
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance.
• Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 34°F to
  -10°F as needed and in environments with potential allergens.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift.
