Assistant Restaurant Manager

Overview

Assistant Restaurant Manager role at Rackson Restaurants — Avon, OH. Full-time/Part-time position with a typical hourly range of $15.00 - $18.00 per hour.

• Oversee all restaurant activities during the shift, ensuring smooth store operations, exceptional guest service, and adherence to company standards.
• Support the Management Team in staff management and financial performance management; assist in implementing policies, ensuring safety standards, and fostering a positive work environment.
• Assist in executing limited General Manager duties as needed; provide training and help maintain restaurant efficiency and profitability.
• Demonstrate self-awareness, motivate others, seek feedback, and understand the impact of responsibilities on Guests, Team, and Operations.
• Ensure adherence to brand standards for service, food quality, and safety; maintain cleanliness and service standards to uphold the brand image.
• Plan and execute shift operations efficiently, following cost-control guidelines; manage labor and cash-handling procedures.
• Lead with empathy and teamwork; identify and develop talent for future roles.
• Coordinate restaurant operations, including staffing, inventory management, and administrative duties; monitor trends and implement improvement plans for long-term sales growth.
• Motivate and train Team Members and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Support the business hands-on as needed (e.g., preparing food, serving guests, cleaning, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; restaurant management experience.
• English communication required;
  Spanish comprehension helpful. Reading, writing, math, and computer/POS skills required.
• Previous fast food management experience required.
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage performance metrics, product specifications, and management systems.
• Technically proficient in food preparation, production, and delivery; strong food handling/safety knowledge.
• Strong leadership skills; calm and professional under pressure.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and involve the right stakeholders as needed.
• Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations and work multiple stations.
• Positive attitude, genuine desire to serve others, and respectful treatment of colleagues.
• Strong communication skills in English and/or Spanish; self-motivated and action-oriented; willingness to learn and take accountability.
• Reliable attendance; must have reliable transportation and be available for varied shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Physical requirements:
  
  ability to lift up to 50 pounds; stand for extended periods; perform repetitive motions; tolerate temperature variations in work areas.
