The Food Server is a part-time, on-site role located in Avon, OH, responsible for providing attentive and courteous table service to members and guests in dining rooms, banquet spaces, and outdoor areas. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting guests, presenting menus, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of service. The Food Server answers questions about menu items, accommodates reasonable special requests, and coordinates with kitchen and bar staff to deliver a smooth dining experience.

The role involves setting up and breaking down service areas, maintaining cleanliness and organization of tables and workstations, processing payments, and following all club policies and food safety guidelines. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required based on club events and member needs.

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive, professional, and welcoming experience for members and guests.
• Knowledge of basic food & beverage and food service practices, including serving etiquette and safe handling procedures.
• Clear and courteous communication skills for interacting with guests, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Interest or experience in cooking or kitchen operations is helpful for understanding menu items and preparation methods.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, carry trays, and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Previous experience in restaurant, hospitality, or club settings is preferred but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a collaborative approach to working with the service and culinary teams.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
