** Job Overview
** Bass Pro Shops’s Cabela’s Avon location is seeking a part-time Boat Sales Consultant to assist customers in selecting boats and other recreational products that fit their needs. This customer-focused position helps guide buyers through the sales process, provides product information, manages leads and follow-up, and works closely with the Service Department to support a seamless customer experience from initial inquiry through delivery.
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
*** Greets customers and helps identify their boating and recreational product needs
* Provides product information to support informed purchasing decisions
* Maintains current knowledge of boats, ATVs, pricing, promotions, and available products
* Generates, manages, and follows up with customer leads using the dealership CRM system
* Completes required sales paperwork accurately
* Works with the Service Department to coordinate a smooth customer delivery experience
* Maintains clean, professional, and properly merchandised showroom displays
* Participates in boat shows, parking lot events, and other promotional activities
* Works toward established individual sales goals
* Maintains confidentiality of customer information
* Performs other duties as assigned
** Qualifications / Requirements
*** High school education or equivalent experience
* Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to build effective working relationships with customers, coworkers, and management
* Ability to calculate basic figures such as discounts and percentages
* Basic computer skills and ability to use point-of-sale and customer relationship management systems
* Ability to stand for extended periods
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
* Interest in boats, ATVs, and recreational products preferred
** Salary:** $14.00–$16.75/hour
