Larry H. Miller Dealerships operates more than 50 dealership locations across seven western states, representing 17 automotive brands. Each dealership focuses on the sales and service of new and used vehicles, offering customers a wide range of automotive options. The company also provides vehicle service contracts through Total Care Auto Powered by Landcar, supporting long-term vehicle protection. Team members join a large, established automotive group with opportunities to work with diverse brands and service offerings.

This full-time, on-site Technician role is based at our Avondale, AZ dealership. The Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic evaluations, routine maintenance services, and mechanical repairs on a variety of new and used vehicles. Day-to-day responsibilities include inspecting vehicles for safety and performance issues, completing work orders according to manufacturer and dealership standards, and documenting all services performed. The Technician will collaborate with service advisors and parts personnel, follow established processes and safety procedures, and maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficient and quality service for customers.

• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude, including experience with vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals, technical bulletins, and repair documentation.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with service advisors, parts departments, and other technicians.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality standards, and accurate recordkeeping.
• Prior experience in automotive service or technician roles; dealership experience is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as ASE or manufacturer-specific training are preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Avondale, AZ, stand for extended periods, and lift moderate weights as required by automotive service work.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in automotive technology is beneficial.
