AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that keep our customers continuously connected to the innovations they rely on. This role serves a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers.

You will work independently in a dynamic environment to maintain and enhance the reliability of next‑generation networks and help develop automated, scalable solutions.

• Move and install large enterprise equipment.
• Install fiber and copper cabling and patch cables between equipment.
• Maintain safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
• Follow established hardware installation procedures and perform break‑fix activities.
• Safely use material handling tools and equipment.

• Lifting up to 40 lbs regularly; assisting with group lifts over 41 lbs.
• Work in 24/7 environments, including primary responder rotation and after‑hours support as needed.
• Operate in cramped, elevated or noisy settings; bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand and walk for up to 8+ hours a day.
• Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely.
• Travel within and outside the regional work area as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in technical or vocational roles such as Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, Data Center Operations, or Technical Project Management.

• Industry standard certifications (CompTIA, CCENT, Network+).
• Knowledge of network cabling, optical types, and test equipment.
• Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
• Experience managing medium to large, complex projects and ambiguous details.
• Familiarity with major command‑line protocols (Cisco IOS, JunOS, GNU/Linux) and common networking protocols (BGP, OSPF).
