Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a Registered Nurse, you will:
- Provide professional nursing care within an assigned unit.
- Coordinate care planning with other disciplines.
- Deliver individualized, age-specific bedside nursing care based on patient needs.
- Supervise and direct other healthcare employees in patient care.
- Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals.
- Participate in hourly rounding and observe safety guidelines.
- Occasionally take charge for shifts as needed.
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- Special Skills:
- Effective interpersonal skills and excellent customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional pressure.
- Basic computer skills.
- Minimum Requirements:
- 1 year of acute care experience in MS or TELE/PCU/Cardiac.
- Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in CVICU or ICU, or a minimum of 2 years in Cardiac Stepdown.
- BSN degree.
- Certifications:
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in Arizona.
- CPR or ACLS, as applicable.
