Lead a Team Making a Difference in Behavioral Health

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Manager to join a behavioral health team in Avondale, Arizona

About the Opportunity

This organization provides a comprehensive continuum of behavioral healthcare, including residential, outpatient and inpatient services, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services.

The team serves individuals experiencing mental health conditions, substance and opioid use disorders, homelessness, and behavioral health crises. Care is delivered through integrated, evidence-based treatment models focused on improving patient outcomes and supporting long-term recovery.

What You’ll Do

As the RN Manager
, you will provide clinical leadership and oversight of nursing and patient care services at the facility. You will work closely with providers, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams to promote safe, effective, and compassionate care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide leadership and direction for nursing and medical care throughout the facility.
  • Oversee day-to-day nursing operations and assist with long-term clinical planning.
  • Lead, support, coach, and develop nursing staff.
  • Collaborate with medical providers and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
  • Ensure provider orders, medical protocols, and established standards of care are followed.
  • Support the physical and psychological needs of patients and their families.
  • Review significant clinical events, patient care concerns and grievances.
  • Provide oversight related to medication utilization and laboratory orders.
  • Identify opportunities for staff training and clinical process improvement.
  • Recommend policy, training, and process changes to senior nursing leadership.
  • Promote a culture focused on patient safety, quality care, accountability, and teamwork.
Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Nursing required;
    Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
    .
  • Minimum of two years of Registered Nurse experience
    , with sufficient exposure to both behavioral health and medical crisis situations.
  • At least one year of charge nurse, lead, supervisory, or nursing management experience preferred
    .
  • Behavioral health and/or withdrawal management experience preferred.
  • Current, valid, and unencumbered Arizona Registered Nurse license
    , or applicable compact privilege to practice in Arizona.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, leadership, and team-development skills.
  • Valid identification required.
