Job Overview:

We are looking for an Experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a well-established warehouse operation in Avonmouth. In this hands-on role, you will oversee daily operations, manage a team, and ensure the safe, accurate handling of goods while maintaining high standards of health, safety, and security.

Role Details & Benefits:

Full-time, Permanent position
Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (40 hours per week)
Pension scheme

Duties & Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Oversee the receipt, storage, retrieval, and dispatch of goods in line with operational procedures
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely system updates
Monitor, implement, and enforce health and safety standards
Conduct regular audits to maintain compliance with security, confidentiality, and data protection policies
Train and develop team members to achieve performance targets
Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer service standards are met
Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
The Right Candidate:

Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or comparable leadership role
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
Competent in management systems and Microsoft Office
High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality and data protection
Hold Forklift licence or willingness to train
