HGV Class 2 Driver – Avonmouth

£32,500 per annum | Monday to Friday | Permanent Position | No Handball

M4 Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join one of our valued clients based in Avonmouth.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent role with a well-established company offering regular weekday work, no handball, and immediate interviews.

The Role

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will:

* Complete 4–8 deliveries per day across Avonmouth and the surrounding areas

* Deliver palletised goods, with all deliveries unloaded by forklift – no handball required

* Carry out daily vehicle safety checks

* Complete delivery paperwork accurately

* Deliver excellent customer service

* Comply with all transport legislation, driver hours, and health & safety procedures

Working Hours

* Monday to Friday

* Start time: 6:00am

* Finish times typically between 5:00pm and 6:00pm, depending on the day's deliveries

* No scheduled weekend work

Salary & Benefits

* £32,500 per annum

Requirements

To be considered, you'll need:

* A valid Class 2 (Category

C) driving licence

* A valid Driver CPC qualification

* A valid Digital Tachograph Card

* Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience

* A good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations

* A reliable, professional, and customer-focused attitude

* You will need a minimum of 2 years experience due to insurance purposes

* No more than 6 penalty points (preferred)
