Organization Description
The Gulf Downstream Association (GDA) was established by its Founding Companies from Saudi Aramco, Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI), Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO), Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and OQ. GDA is a non‑profit organization that aims to bring leading Downstream players together to further develop the industry and draw mutual benefits from sharing knowledge and best practices.
Role DescriptionThe Accountant handles the association’s financial operations, including transactions, payroll, petty cash, budgets, and cash flow, while ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with internal policies, VAT regulations, and applicable accounting standards.
QualificationsKey Responsibilities
- Record and maintain all financial transactions accurately using the association’s accounting system.
- Maintain accurate accounting records, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Manage petty cash transactions and ensure proper documentation.
