Alia National School & Alia Autism Center in Bahrain is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team supporting children and young adults with autism and developmental needs.

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative environment alongside educators, behavior analysts, and therapists to deliver individualized, evidence-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver therapy sessions focusing on sensory integration, fine motor skills, daily living skills, and self-regulation.
  • Support students with autism spectrum disorder and related conditions in school and therapy settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, ABA therapists, and parents to ensure consistency of interventions.
  • Develop and implement sensory diets and classroom strategies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and progress tracking.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting.
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Licensed/eligible for licensing in Bahrain (NHRA preferred).
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in pediatrics or working with autism.
  • Experience in sensory integration and school-based therapy preferred.
  • Strong understanding of autism, behavior management, and inclusive practices.
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Good communication skills with families and professionals.
