Year 2 Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary cover starting ASAP in Axminster and the surrounding areas

Duties as Year 2 Teacher- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Year 2 pupils in line with the national curriculum
- Differentiate learning activities to meet individual pupil needs
- Assess, record, and report on pupil progress in accordance with school policies
- Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning
- Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and productive learning space
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to whole-school initiatives
- Uphold safeguarding and welfare standards at all times
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
- Ability to inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Previous experience teaching Year 2 is desirable
