Year 2 Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary cover starting ASAP in Axminster and the surrounding areas

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Year 2 pupils in line with the national curriculum
• Differentiate learning activities to meet individual pupil needs
• Assess, record, and report on pupil progress in accordance with school policies
• Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning
• Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and productive learning space
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to whole-school initiatives
• Uphold safeguarding and welfare standards at all times

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
• Ability to inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Previous experience teaching Year 2 is desirable
