Grounds Maintenance Contracts Manager

Due to staff progression and expansion, we're looking for a Contracts Manager to join our Grounds Maintenance team.

Tony Benger Landscaping Ltdis a multi-disciplined landscaping business. It is a great place to work, and has a passion for all things landscaping. Our Grounds Maintenance Team focuses on delivering consistently high-quality projects within a large radius of our head office near Axminster.

In this role you will work closely alongside other Contracts Managers. You will be the main point of contact for some of our clients who include the majority of national estate management companies, managing the maintenance of public open spaces on housing developments

Reporting to the Head of Grounds Maintenance, typical duties will include:

• Contract management of relevant projects efficiently and effectively, communicating between client and all relevant stakeholders.
• Contract administration – Recording job information, completing valuations and invoices in a timely manner.
• Proactive interest in furthering Company order book – Identification of potential customers, accurate pricing of works, following up leads and chasing submitted tenders.
• Line management – Act as Line Manager for up to 4 colleagues, ensuring training and development needs and performance are managed in an effective manner.
• Ownership of Quality of service across region – Ensure work delivered to TBL standards and seek continual improvement.
• Ownership and Promotion of a professional mindset towards H&S.

The successful candidate will have great Excel and general IT skills, be able to manage their own time effectively and have a systematic approach and attention to detail.

An understanding of landscaping and horticulture, would be a considerable advantage.

Being ‘good’ with people is essential.

Support by the team and wider Company will always be on hand.

Salary will be dependent on experience;

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: £30k to £40k, depending on experience
