Certified Home Health Aide – Ayer, MA

We are looking for a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) to serve clients at Bright Star Care locations across Concord, Lexington, Bedford, Billerica, Carlisle, Woburn, Weston, and Hanscom AFB. Positions are available as full-time, part-time, and per diem.

Compensation: Pay ranges from $19.00–$21.00/hr, with a maximum of $21.00/hr depending on shift and assignment.

Locations: Concord, Lexington, Bedford, Billerica, Carlisle, Woburn, Weston, Hanscom AFB.

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health and well-being.
• Follow individualized care plans to ensure client safety and comfort.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and transportation as needed.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid and verifiable Home Health Aide Certificate from a reputable program.
• Certified CPR.
• Preferred: 1 year of documented caregiver/home care assistance experience.
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Licensed driver with insured, reliable automobile and proof of insurance.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing high-quality care.
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively.
• Must be able to provide support to push, pull, bend, lift, kneel as needed and lift up to 50 lbs.
