Overview

Join a fast‑paced manufacturing team in Ayer, MA, as a Skilled Maintenance Mechanic. If you’re experienced in maintaining and repairing production equipment and enjoy working independently, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

Schedule:

2nd Shift | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (must be available to work some Saturdays as needed)

Pay: $32 - $35/hour + Overtime Opportunities (based on experience)

Description

This is a hands‑on maintenance role responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment. You will respond to production line calls, perform preventative maintenance, and support the installation and setup of equipment to ensure efficient operation.

Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to line calls and mechanical issues
  • Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance
  • Install, set up, and test new machinery
  • Support continuous improvement of equipment performance
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Work independently to resolve issues in a high‑demand environment
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with high‑speed automation equipment required
  • Proven ability to diagnose, repair, and install machinery
  • Self‑motivated and capable of working independently
  • Solid understanding of preventative maintenance practices
