Skilled Maintenance Mechanic | 1st and 2nd Shift

Ayer, MA

Schedule:

1st Shift | 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday-Friday
2nd Shift | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (some Saturdays required)

Pay: $32 - $35/hour + Overtime Opportunities

• Respond promptly to production line calls and mechanical issues.
• Diagnose and repair machinery malfunctions.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Install, set up, and test new manufacturing equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work independently in a high-demand, fast-paced production setting.

• 3-5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with high-speed automation equipment required.
• Proven ability to repair, install, and maintain machinery.
• Self‑motivated and capable of working independently.
• Solid understanding of preventative maintenance practices.
